Traveling to another country? It’s important to bring along a few important documents to make sure you get through customs without hassle. Customs agents may ask to see the following:
A valid passportpassport, or other proof of citizenship like a government-issued photo ID and birth certificate with raised seal.
A travel visatravel visa, if the country you’re visiting requires one.
A completed customs declaration form. You may receive the form while traveling, or when you arrive. Just fill it out – it only takes a few minutes!
